HizbAllah to sue Israel

Filed under:

Ibrahim Awada head of HizbAllah's legal department, revealed the plan last week on a Syrian television program devoted to "Zionist crimes against Lebanon." He said that each plaintiff will hire a lawyer in the country where he files suit, and HizbAllah will pay the lawyers fees.

So, let me get this straight, HizbAllah kidnaps Israeli soldiers yet HizbAllah is the victim. Instead of playing silly games the party should apologize to its fellow citizens that it brought war upon Lebanon. Shame on them!

Jeha says:

Great,

I would like to sue Israel, provided I can sue Hizbullah as well.

Manuela says:

Jeha: Why sue Israel? They did what they had do to protect their interests. Whose interests has HizbAllah protected in July? Its ministers were part of the gov it has MPs in Parliament yet HizbAllah does what it wants in what should be a sovereign country. It is not that HA is a state in a state - its way beyond that. They have a parallel state period. The telecommunications lines are just the peak of an iceberg. Thanks for sharing your view.

Jeha says:

Simple; precedence.

Since they admit to the principle of suing, I should be able to sue Hezbo' in the end.

Manuela says:

Jeha: Good point.
