By far America cares most about peoples ability to contribute rather than be a parasite. Open borders, like in Europe means that an attack or some action can proceed from any country in the system, rather than specific countries. Though this is never ever reconciled in that if your letting in 25,000 poor from each country around the world, and an extra quarter million poor from south America, that there would be a large growing disparity between those that have and those that don’t. after all, we don’t give 100k awards to each immigrant that comes here.
