Now, the Bus Bombs Start in Russia

Is Russia the new Lebanon?
The Google News wire is burning this morning with dozens of stories reporting terrorist attack on a passenger bus (shown above) in the southern Russian city of Togliatti yesterday. Eight people died and 50 were hurt. As we've previously reported, Russia has been outrageously awarded the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, which it proposed to hold in the southern city of Sochi -- even closer to Russia's breakaway Chechnya region, source of most terrorist activity, than Togliatti. Just two months ago, a passenger train en route from Moscow to St. Petersburg was blown off the rails, and a week ago another bus attack was launched in Dagestan.
Nice move, IOC! And let's pass round a few cigars to the Russian voters, as well. They've given themselves a KGB regime that offers all the downsides of dictatorship without any of the benefits (Russia has one of the world's highest murder rates and the problem of Chechnya has very obviously not been solved, much less has law and order been established).
