THE QUICK DEVOLUTION TO LIVEJOURNALING

Damn Nathan for hitting me with this chain letter! I’ll get him back for it! But who can refuse a chain letter? Plus, it’s about books, so instead of me writing about secret crushes and first kisses, I’ll be pointing you in the direction of good bathroom material. He did forward this to me to see my response, so here we go.

You????????re stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?

1984, a world where nutcase conspiracy mongering through loose and unproved connections actually mean something. They couldn’t call me crazy then!

UPDATE: You know, I read this as Fahrenheit 9/11. But I guess the answer still fits.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Not unless this publication has pictures, examples of which I will provide later…

The last book you bought is:

Shogun, by James Clavell. Nothing like 1100 pages of a size 8 font to force me to wear my glasses.

The last book you read:

Their Eyes Were Watching God.

What are you currently reading?

I’ve been simultaneously reading The Case for Democracy and Blog since I got them about a month ago, little by little as I have the time.

Five books you would take to a desert island.

Do they have to be books? Staring at a picture of Hugh Hewitt, while an undoubtedly handsome man, is not something I could do for the rest of my life. On the other hand, five issues of various erotica magazines would do quite nicely.

Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and why?

Andy (blogger of all things Russia.)
David McDuff (who is always reading something interesting and unheard of.)
Daniel (Because after being worn out from his trip, he knows he wants to do this!)
