CODE PINK QUIETLY REMOVES PHOTO, REPLACES WITH ANOTHER FRAUD

Earlier A.M. Mora y Leon had a post detailing a badly-done and horribly misguided photoshop of brave Iranian women into mindless shells of the Code Pink cult. It appears that they quietly took down that image after Mora drew attention to it.

Now, most people aren’t dumb enough (or wicked enough) to pull off a stunt like that. But, having done so and having been publicly shamed, one would think the very last thing such a person would do — even an extremely dumb and wicked person — is to replace that fraud with another similar fraud.

Here’s the new image:

(If the entire banner doesn’t show up within the blog layout, you may have to right-click and “view image,” or save the image and view it in your favorite image editor.)

If you zoom in on the image a bit — you don’t even really have to, but it makes it more obvious — you’ll see in the right-most panel that the woman is holding a pink “balloon,” which is in fact a plain gradient within a drawn shape. You can even see the white edges around it, where the photoshopper clumsily inserted the balloon. The first panel (to the left), which they don’t seem to have changed much from the original fraud, also has a balloon. I think it’s the exact same “balloon.” The woman on the right also has a very fake-looking button, and is holding a fake-looking placard, and almost certainly wants nothing to do with the filth and hatred of Code Pink, to whatever extent that she’s even aware she’s been co-opted for their cause. The women in the middle panel don’t look like Code Pinkers either — does anyone recognize their backdrop or attire? The crossed-out dollar sign is probably a decent starting point, I’d imagine those are quite rare.

I don’t have absolutely incontrovertibe proof that this is another photoshop, but it does overhwhelmingly look like a hack job, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some individual(s) in the blogosphere can come up with a conclusive case. At any rate, the case is already five-nines made (99.999%).

Do the womyn of Code Pink think we’re as dumb as they are? Are they completely desparate in the area of fielding strong, happy, confident women? Christ, even in the photo of wailing Code Pinkos, they had to photoshop in the balloon.

STOP!

ÄFor those tracking the changes, the banner is located at www.womensaynotowar.org

UPDATE: How ridiculous does this get? It looks like they even photoshopped their Code Pink women (in the left cell) — including the young black woman who I don’t think is a Code Pinko — onto the background. Are they just compulsive liars, with some urge to make things up?

ANOTHER UPDATE: OK, so what they did with the left cell is remove the original fake photo, take their Code Pinko cut-outs and paste them on a new background, throw in the black girl, and paint a balloon. Wow. (And that’s just for starters — I can see a few other things that look suspicious, too.)
