THE COURT WILL SAY WHO IS THE WINNER OF ITALY’S ELECTION

Breaking News: Italy’s former Minister for Reforms, Calderoli, affirms today that if the Court of Cassation confirms the not irrelevant irregularities, the election outcome could change and the center-right could continue to govern. Please read this news here .

“Not only are a lot of votes being contested, but so are the election irregularities and both could change the outcome. The latter are being contested because of what was on record and how it was transcribed. These particular irregularities, which have to be sniffed out, took place all over the country”. Calderoli continued, “I would like to give you an example: Emilia-Romagna, which was the most obvious case. On examining the records in the first 200 sections, the results show that the House of Liberties coalition won by 1,100 votes. However, there are 4,600 sections and if this trend, which will be further examined on Tuesday, continues, the House of Liberties will get another 25,600 votes which would completely cancel Prodi’s victory

As of today, neither Prodi nor Berlusconi can claim to be the winner. If the Court accepts Calderoli’s claims ( there is a chance it would ) Prodi might not be Italy’s new PM.

Those who lose an election should accept defeat. It has always been like that. But when it is thought to have been irregularities, the Italian law allows recounting.

Anyway, as far as babes are concerned, I’d like you to introduce you to Mara Carfagna, ex contestant of Miss Italy and now elected at the Italian Parliament with the center-right:
