It’s finally out.
We knew he was a megalomaniac. We knew he was like Hitler in Paris when he strutted through to “congratulate” his newest colony of Bolivia. The signs are everywhere, and starting to come together:
Hugo Chavez’s ultimate masterplan is to rule the world. Literally. He’s got it all mapped out in various regions and on five fronts. His three-pronged strategy is “anti-capitalism, anti-Americanism and advancement of The Project.”
Sound nutsy enough to you? Sound Hitlerian enough?
If you don’t think so, you haven’t read this longer piece detailing Hugo Chavez’s very own goal for global domination at El Universal in this essay here.
That’s not all, by the way. Several bloggers are seeing something of the same thing – as if we all sense it in the air from where we are, in different ways:
Miguel Octavio at Devil’s Excrement has more information about Hugo Chavez’s efforts to crown himself king in this item here.
Academic Elephant at Elephants in Academia says Chavez’s willingness to use the knout against his opposition in order to achieve absolute power is probably related to his abuse directed at Peru’s voters. (The Pachy found the link reference we were looking for on that threat Micah mentioned earlier). Read it here.
Luis Assumpcao at Swimming Against The Red Tide in Brazil notes that the bonhomie of the leftist presidents of Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Venezuela signals a rejection of nationality and a commitment to leftism, via The Sao Paulo Forum. The idea is to unite to challenge the West for power and control. It’s an interesting and unusual interpretation here.
Alvicho at Off Topic says that this is a case of Chavez revealing his true intentions and the secondary effect is that Evo Morales follow his example right afterward. Both are going down Castro Road. “Economic disaster is unstoppable now,” he writes. His essay is here.
