A car near the Cochabamba governor’s office being burned by Evo Morales’ Marxist militants

Marxist militants like to set things on fire, and these days none moreso than those in Bolivia, who’re burning down the town – of Cochabamba, so to say. That’s why they began massing on a Bolivian governor in Cochabamba state who’s been dissenting from the Morales bid to consolidate power. He’s been elected democratically, but no matter, what’s happening is what Morales does – wears people down until they give up and walk away. That’s what these militants are doing – they’re protesting, massing and burning things in a bid to force the democratically elected governor’s resignation. That’s some democratic technique Morales, has, is this not the case? Today, Morales’ mobs went and set the statehouse on fire after a machiavellian Morales official named Munoz first withdrew all police protection against the governor’s wishes. At the firestorm melee, 22 people were injured. It’s downright mob rule over there now as the struggle for and against communism grows violent. See some of the details in this WSJ Coca Democracy piece by Mary Anastasia O’Grady from Monday. And Miguel at MABB blog has many more spectacular pictures and the whole story of what’s going on over there in this post here.
