Kicking a Little Rooski Ass in Georgia

34592543.jpg Celebrating the Great Victory in Georgia

Georgia's President has won a devastating victory, easily roaring to reelection despite a relentless barrage of imperialistic fraud by Russia. International observers roundly praised the process as free of taint and worthy of supreme respect, an amazing result given the extent of aggressive actions against Georgia by Russia in recent months. Rather than responding to Russia's provocation with authoritarianism, as Russia's so-called "president" has done, Georgia's leader simply called elections and let the people decide.

Hooray! Score one for our side! Now, it's time to immediately bring Georgia within the protective confines of the NATO fold, so that Russia is dissuaded from continuing its malignant attempts to reconquer it as a slave state. The Kremlin will not give up until this is done. Had it already occurred, then the brief crackdown that followed the Kremlin's recent efforts to unseat the president by provoking tumult in the streets would not have occurred, since Georgia would have known it was safe from Russian aggression. As things stand now, the president has no choice but to take decisive action when he perceives his nation may be invaded at any moment.

Vova says:

Here in the Russian hinterlands where yours truly is cooling his rear the Georgian poll created the usual hysteria cum inferiority complex amplified with "the whole world is against us" syndrome. As much as I like and support Misha, he is the most pro-Russian candidate (more in a cultural than political sense), except that the rooski political establishment cannot appreciate this being blinded by their phobia

La Russophobe says:

Indeed, he made a number of conciliatory statements towards Russia in the aftermath of his victory, only to be met with bile and hubris from the Russian side. That he might be the most pro-Russian is a sad commentary on the utter failure of the malignant little troll's foreign policy.

Meanwhile, Georgians voted overwhelmingly in the same poll that they want to joint NATO. How it is possible for the Russian people to accept what is obvious total disaster in their relations with other countries, especially in the Soviet sphere, and also to accept slave wages and a sub-60 lifespan, is one for the ages.

They're asking for it. They're going to get it.

Richard says:

Kim translation:

- I hate Putin, who jails the opposition, shuts down unfriendly media, and uses nationalism to achieve unity.
- I love Saakashvili, who jails the opposition, shuts down unfriendly media, and uses nationalism to achieve unity.
- We should protect Georgia’s independence by conquering it into our own empire
- We should do this quickly, ignoring international law

Moisten these points in a blood soaked tub, mix densely with empty political jargon, add a pinch of degrading ignorance and stir.
