Vladimir Putin: Weak, and Getting Weaker

My latest installment on the Pajamas Media mother blog explains how Europe is encircling Russia with ominous court actions which threaten to undermine the very viability of its KGB-dominated regime, admirably showing precious little regard for so-called "Russian power." Click through and check it out, and feel free to leave your comments as to what additional steps the NATO countries should be taking to contain Russian aggression. Hopefully, Cold War II can be ended successfully without firing a shot, just as was the case with Cold War I, if we act in a determined and concerted manner.

Go Europe! We have your back!

Vova says:

Kim, I agree, but... will you ever stop referring to "Russia" as a country and the bloodsucking leech (or helminth feeding off undigested fecal matter) as its president

La Russophobe says:

Unfortunately our awareness of Russia as a society hasn't yet progressed to the point where we can call a malignant little troll a malignant little troll and a barbaric hoard a barbaric hoard. But it's my goal to get us there one day, or better still to transform the two into something that can rightly, even proudly, be called president and country.

Vova says:

Right on, LA! You can say that the king is a thief, a pedophile, a rapist, whatever, but you cannot say thsat there is no king or that he's naked. I ran afoul of "anti-Soviet" intellectuals at Boston College in the early 70's by saying that there was no such thing as "Soviet Union." To them this was beyon the pale. "Russia" is a piece of real estate carved up by a dozen warlord-leeches each with a private army and privatized borders! As Albats said yesterday on Moscow Echo's Osoboye mneniye (personal viewpoint), there is no state there, no government, no political parties, no civil society, etc., the list goes on

Ray says:

When Vova and Kim are done playing in their sandbox, they should consider perhaps worrying a bit more about America: losing 2 wars, economy going into the tank, is forced to hold out its hat for donations from 3rd world despots, while Russia won its war against Chechnya and is booming and expanding. How pathetic. Everything Reagan did for America is being destroyed by morons like you.

Vova says:

Ray, regarding your wild assertion that "Russia won its war against Chechnya" I suggest that you conract Ramzan Kadyrov and give him your home address. If you won't, I will

Ramzan Kadyrov says:

Statement:
“Europe is encircling Russia…showing precious little regard for so-called "Russian power."
Conclusion: Russia is aggressive.

Tipsy-turvy.
