Chechnya and the NYT on Pajamas

Filed under:

In addition to my blogging duties here on Publius Pundit and over at La Russophobe, I'm also a Russia correspondent for Pajamas Media. My piece about New York Times coverage of Chechnya is currently running over there, so check it out. It ties in neatly to my piece here earlier this week about how the Times fell down on the job when trying to report on the Ukrainian parliamentary elections and my earlier piece here on how they perverted their advertising standards for partisan gain . In short, we need to start looking around for a new "paper of record."

I guess it's really easy to take a picture of a downtown intersection and claim the entire region is doing better!

La Russophobe says:

Yup . . . all you need is the absence of a conscience (a KGB guide also helps).
